Oh yeah. Oh yeah. In a blind tupor, Lost in Rum. In a stumbling stupor, Like a street bum. My mind is addled, yet it opens it's pores, to the creative juices, or so much more. Whether you choose your poison, Whiskey or rum. Whether you choose your poison, Meth or amphetamines. Whether you're a crackhead, or a coke head, whatever your poison, are you better off dead? No one knows. No one knows. Choose your poison. Choose your poison. Whatever (indecipherable) works for you. Choose your poison. Choose your poison. You live your life one more day through. Whether its going to be pharmeceuticals, your ___? ____? ____? _____? _____? Whether its going to be your street kind of drugs Or a socially accepted cup o' joe. Hey have Mo!!! That may help you keep goin'. Goin' to the rat race. Maybe you need to pick up the pace Gonna have some coke pick up the pace. Maybe a little more coke. goin' goin' with whatever works for you (???) Lets stoke that fire! Lets have the amphetamines or go for that workout extreme high. maybe your poison is caffeine drinks energy drinks, on an aisle a mile long maybe you choose to mellow out with something chill whether its your prescribed pharmaceuticals or illegal pill. Or take your joint You're still makin' the same bloody choice. You can't live with yourself the way you are now. you're giving some _____ ______ _____ ____? whether its socially acceptable, donuts and cigarette. Or the less and less accepted, its all the same effect: you can't live with yourself, so you gotta modify. If its not drugs, well maybe its a little plastic surgery. just a little botox here, and a botox there, and a nip and a tuck and a nip and a tuck. You just can't live with yourself, you just can't be yourself.

WARNING EXPLICIT LYRICS (SMALL PORTION) Because no one knows.... No one knows why we're here, But we all just know, we live in constant fear. What that fear is, well... some do know... but no one wants... to face it as it is. So they medicate. or they nip and tuck. Or we predicate and have another fuck. We don't know why we're here, But we know we're in fear of each other and what lies beyond. And who knows what the moments hold. We don't know why we're here, but we live in constant fear. Of the dreaded unknown... Death. Of the dreaded unknown.. the Future. Of the dreaded unknown... When's our next breath. Of the dreaded unknown.. The Unknown. We don't know why we're here, but we know we all live in fear. We don't know why we're here. But we live in constant fear. Even though we don't know why were' here, we're livin' in constant fear. Of the unknown. And especially of Death. Of the unknown. what all we might be bereft. We don't know why we're here. We try to make meaning of our meaningless existence we try to make meaning. Sometimes we're leaning left sometimes we're leaning right. sometimes we try to do what only just seems right. But if we don't know why we're here, We just know we're in fear. We don't know why we're here, we just know we're in fear. We don't know why we're here. But we know we live in fear. So few live without that fear. Is it a Buddha world? Or is that even another means of not dealing with the world. Instead of enlightenment and a great beyond, What if there is just nothing. Why is that so terrifying for so many? Because, we don't know why we're here, but we live in fear, making up gods and reasons for why we're here. Can't just BE and accept what is. We have to drive on and fear what is. We don't know why we're here. We just know we're in fear. We don't know why we're here. Just living in fear. What if the fear is all we have. All we have to give. What kind of life is that? Why would you be that way and want to live? Why not live a life not lived in fear (raising voice slowly). Lets find a way to not live in fear. Lets just accept That we are here. Maybe there is no why to it. But don't have to fear. Just be glad for the time we're given however short that may be. Lets make the best of it, whatever it may be. If we're just meanin' making machines then let's make it mean something worthwhile. If we're just meanin' makin' machines, then let's make it worthwhile. Well no one knows why we are here, I don't care what they say. They can try to convince themselves and others, but its just another daydream. I don't know why we're here, and neither do you. You can trick yourself with all the faith you want, but you really don't know why you're here. And when you have to convince yourself so hard, you must be living in fear. It gives you the illusion of security, but thats a load of bull. You don't know any more than the rest of us, so cut the bull. Love your neighbor, that's a good rule, so lets live by that. And maybe you dont know the rest of it, lets just live by that. We don't know why we're here, we're livin' in fear. Instead lets accept that we're simply here, instead of livin' in fear. When Death comes for us, lets be embracing. Instead of constantly fighting, and forcing, and ever racing away. We don't know why we're here, but lets make the best of it. Not for selfish purposes, but for the good of all. Lets do as much good as we can in the short time we're here. Though we don't know why we're here, Let's not be for naught. Let's not be for naught. Let's not be for naught.

about

The Bits & Pieces album is just that, short little bits and pieces of ideas that I've saved. Some might be worth listening to in their own right, while others are ideas that I want to build on later in more complex, complete, and finished form. These tend to be only 1 to 4 minutes, instead of my usual longer 5 to 15 minute pieces. They are usually a single track and single instrument, rather than my usual "multi-track improvisations" or my more completed post-production polished releases.
